Thomas Nicholson is an Ottawa pianist with a passion for teaching. As a fourth-year student in Carleton University's Bachelor of Music program studying piano performance, he plays at RCM Level 10, and has experience teaching a wide range of ages and skill levels, with over 40 current students of his own, in addition to teaching at Granata Music since 2023 and Music Box Studios since early 2024. Thomas encourages his students to attend monthly open mic nights at Granata Music, which provides a casual, low pressure environment for kids to try playing in front of others (and homemade cookies)!
Thomas offers lessons in his own home as well as in students' homes (rate varies based on location)
